Who's the Next Big Thing?

I portray myself in three words: rookie webmanic. If that sounds Chinese, it's more like webamese. I love the internet, but everytime I step into it, body and soul, I get swept away by this whirlwind of information, pictures, hellos, acquaintances I need to avoid, facebookers, spammers, adwares... I'm not a squeamish one, but sometimes I just feel like I need to close the lid on this goddamn laptop (better known as a Pandora box) and run away. I do that once in a while, but then again I come, because once you're infected by the webalgia, there's absolutely no cure. Either it overcomes you or you overcome it.

I have a confession to make: this is not my first blog. Ha! In fact, it's about the third. One still be hanging out in Davy Jones' locker, that limbo some nice folks called the "Google Sandbox". The other one is ongoing, but I don't expect a lot of money from it (it's very topical and esoteric :)

Anyway, this is my third, hopefully lucky attempt. And besides that, I have come here with a new resolve: to share my trials and tribulations along the path of me becoming the next rich blogger. In other words, I'm writing about learning to make this blog wealthy. Circular argument, I should add, but a funky experiment nonetheless.

Why am I doing this? Because of those buzzwords buzzing at my ear: fabulous earnings, hundreds of dollars an hour, million dollar blog sold.... wooooooooo..... why not me? I'm just the next big thing waiting to happen. Wait and learn. LOL.

In my more modest moments, I would say that I'm willing to absorb everything needed to become a wealthy blogger. Frankly, this whole recording-blog idea popped into my head for two main reasons:
1. there are a host of incredibly informational blogs out there from guys that made it, but they always write about the past, in structured manner: "this is what I've done to make a gazillion of dollars". This is great, but it's generally so vague for a rookie like me that doesn't know where to start exactly. When I step in there, I immediately feel assaulted by Webamese troopers ready to make a rookie kill. So I decided to pretty much record my own efforts in the path to greatness: a pure diary in fact, the first and foremost blog. After all I'm just the Joe-Six-Blog of the internet, trying to find his way out into wealth. I'll let you know in due time if things work out.
2. I'm hoping to find other Joe-Six-Blogs like me that are willing to share their discoveries and steps toward becoming rich. The race is on: who's going to be the next big thing?
